Going Under
03:28
|
|||
Left home with a friend of mine.
Gone two years and I don't know why.
Now I'm happy all the time.
I can't think and I'm feeling fine.
Girl put me in a situation,
going through soft core mutation.
Think you heard this all before.
Now you're gonna hear some more.
I know a place where dreams get crushed,
hopes are smashed but that ain't much.
Voluntary experimentation.
Going through soft core mutation.
I'm going under...
Down under where the lights are low.
To a place where all the mutants go.
Doing things I never did before,
inside-out and coming back for more.
Little girl with the four red lips.
I never knew it could be like this.
You put me in a situation.
Going through soft core mutation.
Down under where the lights are low.
To a place where all the mutants go.
Doing things I never did before,
inside-out and coming back for more.
Little girl with the four red lips.
I never knew it could be like this.
You put me in a situation.
Going through soft core mutation.
I'm going under...
Down under where the lights are low.
To a place where all the mutants go.
Doing things I never did before,
inside-out and coming back for more.
Little girl with the four red lips.
I never knew it could be like this.
You put me in a situation.
Going through soft core mutation.
I'm going under...
Down under where the lights are low...

Spiderweb Song
03:58
|
|||
Sue was wrapped up in blue,
spiderweb made of silk and glue.
Though try, did she,
she couldn’t get free.
Oh no…
Days and nights came and went,
spent
suspended in spider cement.
And cry, did she,
constantly.
Oh no…
And why did she
follow the spider into that hole,
the hole inside of her?
Why would she
follow that spider?
Well, I know….
Sue was stuck in a web,
‘twas a trap the spider had set.
Hopelessly caught
in a tangle of thoughts.
Oh no….
Plans were made and then scrapped
when the spider would tighten it’s wrap.
All of her plots
would end up all for naught.
Oh no…
And why did she
follow the spider into that hole,
the hole inside of her?
Why would she
follow that spider?
Well, I know…
And I know there are times
when I just want to walk away,
leave her behind,
put her out of her misery
and me out of mine,
but, you see,
we are meant to be, meant to be…
Meant to be…
Sue was wrapped up in blue,
spiderweb made of silk and glue.
Though try, did she,
she couldn’t get free.
Oh no…
And cry, did she,
constantly.
Oh no…
Crying and weeping
and calling to me.
Oh no…
Oh no, no…
And why did she
follow the spider into that hole,
the hole inside of her?
Why would she
follow that spider
into the hole,
that hole inside of her?
Why would she
follow the spider?
Well, I know…
Yes, I know…

Erratum-o
02:39
|
|||
And the new day seemed old already,
for some reason…
He pondered that thought for a moment,
popped open his umbrella
and stepped outside into the pouring rain.
He was halfway to his car
when he realized what he had done
but,
at that point,
it was too late.
Bad luck would follow him…
Every ounce of energy he had expended
dragging his tired body out of bed
and carrying out his morning routine
would be rewarded by the cruel hand of fate
at some point today.
He knew this to be the case
because this wasn’t the first time
he had set the Cosmic Wheel in motion.
Every bad thing that had ever happened to him
was preceded by,
and easily traced to,
his own innocent mindlessness.
Whether born of haste or just poor decision-making,
he paid dearly for the simplest of mistakes.
He decided he was not going to wait around for it
this time.
He would be proactive,
take fate into his own hands,
play god.
Today would be different.
Today was the day he would
put an end to this nonsense.
One last Cause.
One final Effect.
The new day seemed old already
for whatever reason,
but all he could think about was
getting rid of that fucking umbrella…

Honey/A Swarm Of Bees
04:21
|
|||
Bite my tongue
and swallow a swarm of bees.
Break my spine
into little pieces.
Pluck my eyes
‘cuz she’s the only one I see.
Every word and every note,
buzzing like a beehive in my throat…
Bzzzzzzzzzzzz…
Her honey’s sweet
and it drips from her hips,
down her thighs,
between her knees and to her feet.
Hold my tongue…
Ah, what’s come over me?
Every word and every note, oh...
Buzzing like a beehive in my throat, oh, oh…
Buzzing like a beehive in my throat, oh...
And then she shook me around
and now I’m
stung by love...
Stung by love...
And it’s buzzing inside of me.
It's buzzing inside of me!
Bzzzzzzzzzzzz…
Take these bones,
I no longer need them.
Take these songs
and sing my soul to freedom.
Give her my eyes,
I want her to see what I see…
Every word and every note, oh, oh...
buzzing like a beehive in my throat, oh, oh...
Every word and every note, oh, oh...
buzzing like a beehive in my throat, oh...
And then she shook me around
and now I’m
stung by love...
Stung by love...
And it’s buzzing inside of me.
It's buzzing inside of me...
I am stung by love...
Stung by love...
And it’s buzzing inside of me.
It's buzzing inside of me…
It’s buzzing around in me!
Bzzzzzzzzzzzz…

You Turned To Blue
05:53
|
|||
You, you turned to blue
when I kissed you,
when I kissed you.
You knew, I couldn't wait
to suffocate you,
suffocate you.
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...
I, I saw red
when you said you were leaving,
you were leaving.
I tried, to stop myself,
Felt like my heart
had stopped beating.
I tried to tell you,
but you weren't breathing.
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...
(Take it, Michael)
You, you turned to blue
when I kissed you,
when I kissed you.
I, I had to let you go
and now I know
I’m better off without you.
And I hope
you’re better off, too.
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...
And your mouth opened like a flower
in bloom...

Removing Tongues

Limb from limb,
torn again.
Innocent
and thrown
to the wind...
What am I supposed to do with you?
Your love leaves me bloodied, black and blue…
Take an arm,
take a leg,
break my heart.
Draw me in,
turn me out,
tear me apart...

Don't Leave Me Here
01:35
|
|||
Crossed emotions
running through me.
I never could get past your eyes.
Strong devotion,
come and move me...
I think it's time to realize.
Things are changing.
Where is the tide?
'Cause it used to take me
where I could hide.
Now, I'm alone here,
cold and shivering.
Never was too good at goodbyes...
Don't leave me here.
Don't walk away...
