lyrics

Two vampires couldn't sleep,
the night was just too cold.
Bloodlust and revelry
turned sawdust into gold.
This one, she had eyes of blue,
that one, his were green.
Dreams, like nightmares, do come true
but the endings are seldom seen...

Two vampires hung by rope,
swaying in the wind.
Two dark souls bathed in hope
and basking in their sins.
This one's heart, a broken feather,
plucked from a raven's breast.
That one fell in love with her
and drained himself of the rest...

Two vampires couldn't sleep
so they cut a hole in the sky.
The cut was so clean, so true and deep,
that it bled the universe dry.
This one thought of giving in,
that one had come undone.
Fell asleep, swaying in the wind
and woke up, burned by the sun...
